Reminiscences of Avatar Adi Da Samraj in 1973

In August 1973, Beloved Bhagavan Adi Da invited me to attend Him on His trip to India. I couldn't believe my ears! What a Blessing. Our first stop on the five-week Yajna was at Swami Muktananda's Ashram, three hours north of Bombay. At the time of Adi Da's last visit to the Ashram, there had been a little tea shop next door, where residents and visitors would go to have tea and a biscuit or two. Now the tea shop had closed down and a general foods shop was doing business there.

This photo [on the right] shows Beloved Adi Da standing in the doorway of that shop with me. (Notice how His right arm is held slightly back to allow enough room for me to stand in the doorway with Him--there was plenty of room, but He wanted to make sure there was enough!)
