The Celeration of the "First Room" Revelation
This year we celebrate the 36th anniversary of that gesture of Beloved Adi Da, the Avatar of Reality Itself, to formally establish the Way of Adidam.

On April 25th, 1972, He opened the doors of Shree Hridayam Satsang, the Company of the Heart, on Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles. On that evening, He sat quietly in Divine Darshan, and then asked for questions. In response, His Discourse "Understanding", began the turning of the wheel of His Teaching--a flow of Instruction and Blessing, which continues to this day.

Our host, James Steinberg, has been an intimate devotee of Avatar Adi Da Samraj since 1973. He has been personally schooled by Adi Da in understanding the entire Great Tradition of humankind's Spiritual literature. He is the author Love of the God-Man and Divine Distraction. Both of these books are studies of the Guru-devotee relationship, Avadhoots, Mad Lamas and Fools, and a survey of Crazy Wisdom in the spiritual traditions of mankind. James also wrote the introduction to the forthcoming book The Basket of Tolerance, an annotated bibliography of the great Spiritual literature compiled by Adi Da Samraj. James has been Graced live with Adi Da Samraj at His Island Hermitage Adi Da Samrajashram in Fiji for five years, and at The Mountain of Attention Sanctuary in California for fifteen years.
