Welcomes to New Staff and Our Newest Branch Library

The Laughing Man Library is continuing to look for formal members of Adidam whose skills and interests match those of the Library needs. We want to welcome our newest staff in appreciation of their talents and service.

Jeremy Morse, our Assistant Librarian, is currently on an extended training and service intensive at our main archival library at the Mountain Of Attention Sanctuary. Jeremy graduated from Bowdoin College in Maine with a degree in Comparative Religion, and is applying to begin his Masters and Ph.D. programs next year at the University of Chicago.

We also want to welcome Natalie Schwehr, who is currently majoring in Comparative Religion at Harvard University. Natalie will be joining the library staff for an extended internship this summer.

We also want to welcome our newest developing branch library and bookstore, located in Sedgefield, South Africa. Several members of the library staff were fortunate to be invited to give presentations at the 1999 Parliament of World's Religions in Cape Town, and we were met there by a great seriousness about tolerance and diversity steaming from those who have dedicated their lives to moving beyond the prejudices and suppression of apartheid. We are fortunate that our South African colleague, Jean-Pierre Le Roux, shares this dedication and is working to develop an Adidam Library and Dawn Horse Bookstore that makes available Avatar Adi Da's Wisdom-Teaching and Great Tradition literature based on The Basket Of Tolerance.
