Adi Da Samraj is known for his monumental works meant to draw viewers in an ecstatic experience and connect them to a higher spiritual truth. Since his participation in the 2007 Venice Biennale, the late American-born artist has commanded a large international following...

This exhibition, called Orpheus and Linead, curated by the renowned Italian critic and art historian Achille Bonito Oliva (director of the 45th Venice Biennale), comprises 11 works on aluminum.

This is the artist's first solo exhibition in New York and it features several works that have never been shown publicly.

Moscow-born pianist Katya Grineva celebrates her upcoming 11th Carnegie Hall appearance on June 12, 2009 with an enchanting evening of solo piano works in honor of the Spiritual Realizer Adi Da Samraj.

As the only female solo pianist to grace the Carnegie stage for an entire decade, Grineva has been hailed as "liquid...dreamlike" (New York Times) and "lyrical...exquisitely refined" (The Buffalo News).

I recently attended a talk at the LA Contemporary Gallery in Culver City where the panelists were discussing the work of Adi Da Samraj as well as the art trend at the present, where it's going, and most interesting to me, discussing whether irony is "really the most meaningful response to the human condition," referring of course to the overwhelming surge in ironic political and social commentary (and mostly very un-beautiful) art these days.
